Upgrade Account Type

Started with a Basic Access Account? Follow these steps to upgrade to a Community Access Account

STEP 1: Login

STEP 2: Click "Join Community"

To upgrade your Basic Access Account to a Community Access Account, click "Join Community" in the top right corner of the screen

Note: clicking the "Join Community" or "Join Lab" buttons embedded in the home page banners (black boxes in screenshot below) will trigger the new account creation process - when you go to submit your request it will be denied because your account already exists

STEP 3: Enter Your Details

A small screen will pop-up over the home page. Enter the requested information into the fields provided. Once complete, click the "Join Community" button in the pop-up window

STEP 4: Wait for Approval

The ODC Community Moderators (oversight committee) manually review all requests to become a Community Access User. Approval usually takes less than 24h.

Accounts with a pending upgrade request will display "Join community pending" in the top right hand corner of the screen when logged in

Congratulations, you are now a Community Access User!
